Organize
Overview
The Organize section allows you to manage your controls, gather necessary evidence, and establish your organization profile. This step is about putting your plans into action—assigning responsibilities, tracking compliance tasks, and mapping out your critical assets. The key actions are:
Track Controls and Evidence: Assign owners to each control and ensure they gather the necessary evidence to meet compliance standards.
Define Key Assets: Identify your organization's critical assets ("crown jewels") and outline their importance to your operations. This could include intellectual property, essential processes, or key data systems.
Manage Application Users: Add application users, assign them to assets, companies or controls, assign guardians for reporting events. Ensure all stakeholders are on the same page.
Registering key companies & partners: Document key business partners/companies that your organization relies on, so you can monitor them and identify chain dependencies.
Tips for Getting Started
Assign owners to each control to maintain accountability.
Regularly update your assets list to reflect any changes in critical dependencies.
