1. Introduction

Every organization is a complex web of interconnected processes, systems, and departments. RiskStudio's Reported Events feature allows employees to record events they observe in the organization. These Reported Events can range from a hacked supplier to the use of a fire door by smoking colleagues.

2. Functionality

To access the Reported Events, select "My Reported Events" from the main menu or click on the "Report an Event" button. This will take you to the main Reported Events page where you can report and view events.

2.1 Reported Events page

The Reported Event page contains only the events you have reported. These events are reviewed by someone with 'triage' rights to the workspace, often a CISO or someone with specific risk or security knowledge/background.

2.2 Creating an Reported Event

To create an Event select ‘Report an Event' from the main menu and click on 'Add event’. Then fill in the details of the event and click 'Submit’.

2.3 Chat Function

It is possible to chat to share and/or add additional information to the original report. This can be helpful to the person doing the triage. Click on the line of the particular event, a popup will open with the event description at the top with a chat window below.
